Delegate Code of Conduct
Professional Conduct and Decorum

All delegates must conduct themselves with dignity, courtesy, and respect towards fellow delegates, Executive Board members, and organizing staff.

Delegates must maintain diplomatic language and behavior at all times, both inside and outside committee sessions.

Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
Punctuality and Attendance

Delegates must arrive on time for all committee sessions, briefings, and conference activities.

Attendance throughout sessions is mandatory unless prior permission is granted by the Executive Board or Secretariat.

Late arrivals or repeated absences may affect participation and recognition.
Dress Code

All delegates are required to adhere to formal diplomatic attire throughout the conference.

Delegates must present themselves in a neat, professional, and well-groomed manner.
Use of Electronic Devices

Laptops and tablets may be used strictly for conference-related work such as research and drafting resolutions.

Delegates must ensure their devices are fully charged before sessions.
- 3
Participants are advised to bring power banks as charging facilities may be limited.

The organizing committee will not be responsible for charging arrangements.
Food and Beverage Policy

No food or beverages are permitted inside committee rooms under any circumstances.

Delegates may consume refreshments only in designated areas during scheduled breaks.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene is the responsibility of every delegate.
Respect for Committee Procedure

Delegates must follow all parliamentary procedures and instructions of the Executive Board.

Interruptions, unauthorized speaking, or misuse of committee time are violations.

Debate must remain constructive, diplomatic, and respectful.
Use of Conference Materials and Facilities

Delegates must handle all conference materials and facilities responsibly.

Any damage or misuse will result in disciplinary action.
Integrity and Academic Honesty

All contributions must reflect the delegate’s own work and research.

Plagiarism, falsification, or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Instructions

Delegates must comply with all instructions issued by the Secretariat and Executive Board.

Failure to follow directions may result in warnings or removal.
Consequences of Misconduct

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or disqualification from awards.
- 2
Decisions of the Secretariat and organizing committee are final and binding.
Adherence to the CMSMUN '26 Code of Conduct is mandatory for all delegates, staff, and representatives throughout the conference duration.
